Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 2 years of experience in applied Machine Learning within Conversational AI: NLU for multi-turn dialogue and context, modeling strategies with smaller LLMs.
- 1 year of experience in the development of LLM-agents to orchestrate tool usage, (multimodal) LLMs for modeling actions/APIs, aligning LLMs with rewards, etc.
- Experience with data and novel training methodologies for domain adaptation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Expertise in Agents, LLM-reasoning, and RL methodology.

Responsibilities
- Manage Agentic AI, orchestrate tool usage, native functional calling, and handle complex queries in reactive/proactive paths.
- Develop and implement novel algorithms and methodologies for a new domain, focusing on the fine-tuning of large foundational models.
- Demonstrate applied research expertise with Conversation AI: NLU for multi-turn dialog/context, Large Language Models (LLMs) for modeling actions/APIs, aligning LLMs with rewards, etc.
- Optimize for LLM efficiency and inference performance in complex engineering systems such as Search and Assistant.
