Relay is a vibrant travel retail store located right inside Auckland Airport, designed to make every journey easier. We offer a wide range of products to meet travellers’ needs – from grab-and-go snacks, drinks, and coffee, to books, magazines, tech accessories, gifts, and last-minute travel essentials.

The Role:

We’re looking for an energetic and committed Full-Time Store Manager to join our team at Dunedin Airport. If you love leading from the front, creating outstanding customer experiences, and developing high-performing teams – this is your runway to success.

• What You’ll Do:
• ✅ Be the face of the store – set the standard for service and style
• ✅ Create meaningful connections with customers – every transaction counts
• ✅ Lead, coach, and inspire your team to hit targets and shine
• ✅ Manage store operations with accountability and attention to detail
• ✅ Uphold exceptional presentation and brand standards
• ✅ Foster a respectful, values-led culture every day
• What We’re Looking For:
• 💼 Experience in a similar leadership role in a high-energy retail environment
• 🍾 Duty Managers Certificate or ability to obtain one (must be 20years and above)
• 🗣️ Strong communication and coaching abilities
• 🎯 Confidence to take initiative and own your role
• 🖐️ A “hands-on” leader who thrives in a team setting
• ⏰ Flexibility to work across rotating shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends & public holidays)
• 🪪 Valid working rights & eligibility to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card
