The Opportunity
As Plant Manager, you’ll report to the Director of Operations and take full profit & loss responsibility for our St. Louis facility. You’ll lead a talented team, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure our plant delivers exceptional quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor Value Stream Managers to achieve strategic goals
- Oversee production, maintenance, quality, customer service, shipping, and receiving
- Develop and manage budgets, maximize gross profit, and support key customer needs
- Implement cost-effective systems for capital, operations, and staffing
- Drive continuous improvement in plant performance and quality standards
- Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and collaboration
- Manage hiring, promotions, recognition, and performance within your team
Requirements
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (technical field preferred) and 6+ years in site management with P&L responsibility, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years in manufacturing
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Financial acumen and experience with income statements
- Knowledge of quality concepts (SPC, TQM, JIT) and systems (ISO 9000, Six Sigma) is a plus
