With leading positions in many European markets, Gardena Handtools covers products for cutting, stick-tools as well as garden accessories used in the domestic gardens. As Product Management Handtools (m/w/d), are responsible for specific Product Segment. You will drive you product segment ensuring that our products meet market/channel needs and exceed customer expectations. This role requires a passion for product management, from initial product idea till phasing out of the product and all stages in between.

Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch till phase out, covering all our country and channel requirements.
  • Creation of business and product generation plans for strategic at country and channel level.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, brand and sales, operations, to ensure alignment and successful product execution.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Consumer Focus: Advocate for the customer by incorporating feedback and insights into product enhancements and new features as part of the project development teams.
  • Prepare and execute product presentations/trainings, mainly for internal stakeholder or Key Accounts.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success from a topline but as well profitability point of view

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business ideally with focus on Product Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Several working experience in product management in durable goods and/or FMCG.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, international experience
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with product management tools and methodologies, on pricing, new product development
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex problems, driving innovative solutions.
  • Consumer-Centric: Passion for understanding and meeting customer needs and delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Languages skills: Business fluent in German and English bonus would be French
  • Willingness to travel to our markets or visiting our factories/suppliers.
