Business Unit

Connect Lodging Book (TravelTech) business unit enables travelers to search and book hotel and meeting room content via modern SAAS booking portals and APIs. Our mission is to provide high quality content and an outstanding user experience to the traveler on the one side and compliance and cost savings for the cooperate travel programs on the other side. 

Position

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our quality assurance team. This role is heavily focused on test automation (80%) with some manual testing responsibilities (20%). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong logical thinking, objective decision-making skills, and extensive experience in web application automation testing.

Challenge

Key Responsibilities

Automation Testing (80%)

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for web applications
• Create and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks
• Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing pipelines
• Perform API testing automation and integration testing
• Maintain and enhance existing automation test suites for regression testing
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on test coverage and quality metrics

Manual Testing (20%)

• Design test plans and test cases for the whole system.
• Conduct exploration testing for new features and functionalities
• Perform user acceptance testing and usability testing
• Execute manual test cases when automation is not feasible or cost-effective
• Validate complex business scenarios that require human judgment

General Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Continuously research and evaluate new testing tools and methodologies
• Guide engineering team members on automation best practices

For This Exciting Mission You Are Equipped With...

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with 3+ years of experience in test automation for web applications
• Strong experience with automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or similar)
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN)
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM)
• Knowledge of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar)
• Experience with any programming languages is a PLUS
