- What the job looks like
- Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Lead Medical Affairs activities across the DACH region as a member of the DACH Leadership Team
- Ensure all relevant medical aspects are considered in the development and implementation of brand and customer strategies
- Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of medical content supporting omnichannel activities and digital engagement platforms
- Design, implement, and oversee medical governance structures, including clearly defined SOPs for medical information provision, external communication, interactions with HCPs and scientific societies, as well as for Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs), Real-World Evidence (RWE), and scientific publications
- Strategically manage relationships with scientific societies and Key External Experts (KEEs) in alignment with product development and commercialization strategy
- Hold global responsibility for the strategy and implementation of IITs, RWE data generation, and publications within the framework of global governance.
- Lead, coach, and develop the DACH Medical Affairs team
- What you’ll bring to the table
- To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- Several years of experience in a leadership role within Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally also at a regional or global level
- Experience managing a diverse product portfolio, preferably with a focus on pain therapy
- Proven experience in medical governance, including the development and implementation of SOPs, codes of conduct, as well as review and approval of activities and materials
- Successful collaboration with medical key opinion leaders (Key External Experts)
- Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
