Job Summary
The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, benefits administration, HRIS systems such as Dayforce and SuccessFactors, and employment law compliance.
Primary Duties
- Responsible for timekeeping activities to ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely.
- Facilitate recruitment efforts for all hourly personnel, including updating or drafting job postings, participating in interviews, and attending job fairs as needed.
- Manage onboarding and orientation processes for all new hires.
- Administer employee coaching & disciplines, exit interviewing, and hourly performance management.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. Fun Committee coordinator which includes scheduling employee and community related events.
- Support training and development initiatives.
- Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Maintain HRIS & employee records and compile reports from the database as needed.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Post all required HR compliance postings.
- All other duties as assigned including administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of HR experience preferred, no experience necessary.
