Could you be the full-time Product Introduction Field Engineer in Bucharest, Romania we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless performance of Alstom products during their Product Introduction (PI) period. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Quality, RAMS, and Project Management), support troubleshooting activities, and contribute to technical reviews and documentation improvements.
You’ll specifically take care of diagnosing and resolving technical issues on-site, but also drive reliability growth and support field modifications.
We’Ll Look To You For:
- Providing technical guidance and support for troubleshooting and repairs
- Diagnosing malfunctions and recommending preventative and corrective actions
- Driving containment actions to avoid the recurrence of failures
- Supporting the preparation and implementation of Field Modifications
- Ensuring completeness and quality of input to Failure Management databases
- Facilitating information flow within the PI Customer Site, PI functions, and project teams

- A degree in Engineering or Industrial studies (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Experience in technical fields such as mechanical or electrical/electronic engineering
- Knowledge of railway safety, RAM, and general railway operations
- Exposure to EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) requirements
- Familiarity with product knowledge, data analytics, and problem-solving methodologies
- Skills in DFQ (Design for Quality), quality assurance, and audits
- Strong communication skills for customer contact and collaborative teamwork
