Solutions Architect, Cybersecurity (Remote in US)

The Role: Solutions Architect 
 Presidio has an opportunity for a motivated, intelligent, and energetic individual to join our National PreSales team supporting our Vista customer base. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for meeting with Presidio’s customers, collecting requirements for business solutions related to security projects and developing engineering solutions for sale to Presidio customers.

As a Solutions Architect, you will be a strategic pre-sales engineering partner focused on Cybersecurity, translating business challenges into comprehensive technical and security architecture solutions leveraging market-leading technologies. You’ll engage directly with customers to present and articulate cybersecurity solutions, lead requirements discovery, and design tailored offerings that integrate hardware, software, licensing, and professional services. In this customer-facing role, you’ll collaborate with customers, Account Managers, and fellow Solutions Architects to drive pipeline growth, deliver enablement, and help position innovative solutions.

Travel Requirements:

This position requires occasional travel (few times/year). It will be based in any location in the United States.

Responsibilities Include:

• Act as a technical resource for Cybersecurity-based solutions in pre-sales engagements
• Deliver solution overviews and enablement to internal teams and customers
• Contribute to the development of sales strategies and support customer-facing efforts
• Stay current with technology trends, products, and industry best practices through training, webinars, and collaboration with national practices
• Develop accurate and complete Bill of Materials (BoMs), solution diagrams, and configuration support for strategic vendor technologies
• Create Statements of Work (SOWs), Service Pricing Documents, and proposal materials to support Presidio’s service offerings
• Create costing options & estimates for Presidio services and product-based solutions
• Create Solution diagrams, collect & analyze requirements data from customers, and perform other PreSales activities in support of engineering initiatives
• Research technical issues, answer customer questions about products, technologies, solutions, and offerings from our OEM partners
• Ensure quality and consistency of pre-sales deliverables by following standardized processes and workflows
• Collaborate with other team members to provide solutions for Presidio’s customers
• Work in a focused and directed manner to improve overall productivity & efficiency across Presidio’s PreSales team
• Participate in meetings with customers and sales teams to collect technical requirements from Presidio customers and develop an appropriate technical solution
• Assist in resolving pre-sales challenges and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
• Deliver client-facing status updates, presentations, and documentation throughout the sales cycle
• Work collaboratively with Presidio, Partners, and other key teams to drive opportunities
• Assist in building and developing the Cybersecurity sales pipeline by contributing to technical campaign support and go-to-market efforts

Required Skills And Professional Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar field of study OR equivalent experience AND/OR military experience
• 2-4+ years of relevant experience 
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Proactive, self-driven mindset with a focus on customer success and collaboration
• Strong knowledge of security architectures and technologies including assessment, methodologies, compliance standards etc.
• Strong knowledge of security standards and compliance like PCI, HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, ISO 27001, NIST, CSF, COBIT, ITIL, SANS 20
• Good understanding and knowledge of risk assessment, risk procedures, security assessment, vulnerability management, penetration testing
• Proven knowledge of solutions from vendors like Palo Alto Networks, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Cybereason, Cisco Security, Fire Eye, Splunk, F5, RSA, ForeScout, LogRhythm, Splunk, Okta, etc.
• Strong passion for continuous learning, professional development, and emerging technologies

Preferred Skills And Professional Experience:

• Experience with Infrastructure configurations, Statement of Works, and/or contracts in an IT Services industry
• Participation or graduation from an industry or manufacturer training program for IT/PreSales engineers
• Experience working in IT professional services, either for a manufacturer, value-added reseller (VAR), or IT solution provider
• Leading industry certifications like, CISSP (strongly desired), CCIE-Security, CISA, CISM, CEH, CHP, PCI-QSA are highly preferred
