We are on a mission to drive mindshare and revenue growth for SAP worldwide. The Industry Analyst Relations Sr. Manager role will lead the company’s outreach to industry experts, ensuring ongoing collaboration opportunities and brand advocacy. The industry analyst community is eager to learn more about SAP and assist with constructive inputs related to our strategies in critical markets. You will own the engagement plan and will guide and support internal teams to drive industry expert best practices and strategies
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with your Analyst Relations counterparts as well as the Product Marketing and Engineering, you will define, plan, and execute all aspects of a targeted Industry Analyst Relations program.
- In close collaboration with internal stakeholders, strategically engage with industry analysts and experts to bring insights to inform and influence SAP strategies and foster mutually beneficial relationships.
- Understand SAP’s competitive differentiators and how to best leverage them across the industry expert community’s portfolios.
Work Experience:
- Experience in Analyst or Influencer Relations, Product Marketing, Media Relations, Executive Communications, or similar roles.
- Demonstrated success and experience in working with leading analyst firms such as Gartner and IDC.
- Deep knowledge around analyst evaluations and reports – especially Gartner Magic Quadrants and IDC MarketScapes.
- Proven ability to prepare for and lead strategic discussions at senior levels.
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience in a community engagement role combined with knowledge of the enterprise application software industry.
Education And Qualifications
- Bachelor degree-level education or equivalent
- Measurable qualities in some of the following disciplines: communications, sales, marketing, consulting

- Strong executive presence, cross-group collaboration and communication skills that drive influence among the senior leaders across a highly matrixed organization.
- Ability to thrive as part of a geographically distributed team, bringing energy and positive momentum.
- Solid understanding of the enterprise software industry.
- Ability to work independently as well as across a team environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A good sense of humour and the ability to laugh – even in tough situations – is a bonus!

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 121800 - 255700(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
