Team: Digital Activation Sports Performance

PURPOSE
As a Manager Digital Activation at adidas, you are responsible for planning and executing impactful digital marketing campaigns and activation projects across adidas’ global digital ecosystem and consumer touchpoints. Your role is to orchestrate the successful delivery of seamless, consumer-centric digital experiences that align with business, brand, and digital objectives, drive operational excellence, and meet delivery timelines. 
In this position, you will collaborate closely with Business Units (BUs), market teams, internal and external agencies, and cross-functional partners in digital marketing planning, consumer engagement, experience design, digital product, and analytics. Together, you will bring campaigns and projects to life across all adidas digital touchpoints. Additionally, you will define clear briefs and requirements for all relevant stakeholders, ensuring every initiative delivers on strategic objectives, brand positioning, and consumer expectations.

Key Responsibilities


Scope: Accountable for the planning and execution of selected global digital campaigns and activation projects

  • Orchestrate end-to-end planning and execution of digital campaigns and seasonal projects for the Business Units and markets across all stakeholders, including initial briefing, creative and technical development, implementation and localization. Ensure quality through user testing, QA, and post-launch A/B testing and optimization.
  • Collaborate with Digital Analytics and Consumer Experience teams to leverage consumer insights and commercial drivers for consumer-centric digital planning and execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional digital teams in Digital, BUs, Global Brands, markets, external agencies and Digital Product towards delivery to meet the expected quality and timelines.
  • Solve delivery issues on time. Safeguard the delivery of critical scope items throughout the season.
  • Identify needs for new digital capabilities in your area of responsibility. Partner with Digital Product Owners to capture requirements into the corresponding product backlogs.
  • Ensure delivery meets the brief and agreed scope.
  • Monitor defined success KPIs and optimize implementations and future planning based on performance insights. 

3. Optimization

  • Create strong collaboration with stakeholders of the BUs, Digital and markets within your area of responsibility, contributing to best practices for digital experience planning and production and continuously improving the execution process.
  • Optimize planning and execution based on performance results and consumer insights.
  • Contribute to the development of digital tools and frameworks in close collaboration with Digital Product Owners.  

4. Communication

  • Provide continuous transparency on campaign and project status along the season to stakeholders within your scope of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Degree with focus on Business, Marketing, Digital, E-commerce, Communication or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4+ years of professional experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or a related field
  • Experience in (digital) campaign planning, delivery and management
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders and experts across various seniority levels
  • Experience in working with internal and external agencies and partners
  • Experience in (digital) project management is a plus
  • Familiarity with the adidas global Brand Marketing organization is a plus
