Workyard is a growing startup focussed on the U.S construction and trades markets, operating in an industry where $300 billion is spent annually on labor. We are developing an industry changing technology SaaS solution to manage labor for construction companies. Through a unique approach into the market, we are fundamentally changing the experience for both companies and workers by adding trust, transparency, and technology to the labor management process.
About The Role
Our website is our most powerful salesperson. It’s where our story comes to life and prospects turn into believers. We’re looking for a Website Experience Producer to turn insights, ideas, copy, design, and data into digital magic. In this business-critical role, you’ll be the heartbeat of our web presence: part strategist, part creator, part perfectionist. Working closely with the founders, the VP of Marketing and our partner agencies, you’ll craft beautiful, high-performing pages that feel effortless to the user but that are deeply intentional underneath.
This is a hybrid role: 2 days in our offices in Sydney (Surry Hills), and 3 days remote.
What You’Ll Do
- Own the website experience end to end, from idea to launch to performance review.
- Turn insights and strategy into clear, persuasive, on-brand pages that drive action.
- Write and edit copy that communicates our value and resonates with key personas.
- Direct design execution with a sharp eye for layout, hierarchy, and brand consistency.
- Use analytics tools like Amplitude to identify opportunities for improvement and define A/B tests (executed by agency partners).
- Collaborate with our web developers and external agencies to bring new pages, features, and interactive tools to life.
- Track performance metrics like time on site, conversion rates, and engagement to measure what’s working and what needs to evolve.
About You
- You’ve built or led the production of multiple high-quality, on-brand websites, ideally for a SaaS, digital product, or creative brand.
- You have a deep appreciation for beautiful design and clear communication, and you know how to bring the two together to persuade.
- You’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves: writing copy, sketching wireframes, collaborating with designers, and diving into analytics.
- You think in terms of both art and science: you have creative intuition balanced by data-driven decision-making.
- You’re experienced with platforms like WordPress or Webflow, and you know how to brief and manage engineers or agencies effectively.
- You understand how to use data (Amplitude, Datadog, Tableau etc.) to find insights that inform UX and conversion decisions.
- You’re naturally curious, collaborative, and driven by the thrill of making a website perform better than it did yesterday.
- You’re highly organized: you know how to manage the projects of today whilst also managing prioritization and stakeholder management to inform quarterly and annual planning to define the projects of tomorrow.
