They offer an innovative alternative to traditional financing through Home Equity Investments (HEIs), which allow homeowners to access their equity without taking on monthly debt. This can help pay off debts, navigate financial challenges, or diversify wealth. Investors also benefit by accessing residential real estate as an asset class. Responsibilities

• Provide technical and design leadership across high impact projects that directly impact business goals.
• Set strategic technical directions for your engineering team.
• Partner with the designers and product managers to create an engaging and transparent customer experience.
• Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables as a highly hands on engineer.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large scale software solutions.
• Influence and mentor a distributed set of engineers

Qualifications And Job Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Experience building scaled web-based applications with deep understanding of business goals.
• Exceptional technical design and technical communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with one or more programming languages (Ruby on Rails/React)
• Strong foundations in UI development and product security and or DevOps is helpful.
• Able to negotiate trade offs between product and engineering priorities to maximize the business value of engineering effort.

• Excellent Communication Skills.

• Very collaborative environment and participation is important.
• Prior experience working for a startup is helpful.
• A formal degree in computer science is helpful, but we have people working in this role with only a high school diploma and others with PhDs. We care more about what you can deliver.
• Strong foundations in UI development and product security and or DevOps is helpful.
