We’re looking for candidate that combine deep technical expertise in microwave and cryogenic systems with a proven product leadership track record. In this role, you will translate customer requirements into product strategy, oversee development from concept to deployment, and ensure Maybell continues to set the standard for scalable cryogenic wiring solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Ownership & Roadmap: Define and manage the product roadmap for RF wiring solutions, balancing customer requirements, market opportunities, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Product Development Execution: Lead cross-functional efforts (R&D, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and operations) to deliver product milestones from concept to production.
- Technical Leadership: Direct R&D efforts in the design, modelling, and testing of RF/microwave components and cryogenic cabling systems, ensuring technical excellence.
- Innovation & Prototyping: Drive rapid prototyping and iteration cycles, translating research and novel concepts into deployable products.
- Market & Technology Analysis: Conduct technical market analysis to identify customer needs, competitive positioning, and emerging technology trends; supporting development efforts.
- Customer Engagement: Interface with customers and partners to gather requirements, validate designs, and ensure solutions meet performance and scalability needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 7+ years of professional experience in RF/microwave hardware development, with at least 4+ years in cryogenic or quantum device contexts.
- Proven ability to design, model, and validate RF/microwave components and transmission lines using industry-standard CAD/EDA tools (like HFSS, Altium, etc.).
- Proven experience in product ownership or leadership, including roadmap planning and cross-functional execution.
- Deep expertise in RF measurement and characterization, including S-parameters, noise figure, and thermal performance in cryogenic environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to represent the product and team internally and externally.
- Self-starter with proven ability to drive results independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
