What'S Exciting About The Role

As a core member of the development team, the Software Engineer is responsible for implementing new features, resolving production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality payment software solutions. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of Verifone payment products.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a key developer for the authorization module of Payware CMS.
• Develop and implement new software requirements based on business and technical specifications.
• Provide ongoing support for production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact.
• Collaborate with QA, product, and support teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation efforts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in software quality and performance.

Skills And Experience We Desire

• Proficiency in ANSI C
• Experience with UNIX/Linux
• SQL expertise
• Knowledge of C++
• Familiarity with Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Experience with ISO8583
• Multithreading skills
• Networking knowledge 
• Experience in electronic payments 
• Familiarity with Zabbix 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in a similar software development role.
• Intermediate English proficiency (technical reading and documentation).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
