Job Description
The Film and TV Studios consists of the operations to produce, acquire, market and distribute live action and animated entertainment worldwide in various media formats for theatrical, home entertainment, television and other distribution platforms. The division operates globally and we pride ourselves in supporting and amplifying diverse stories told by unique voices. The Film & TV Studio Security team sits under the CIO’s Office and acts as a security and technical liaison for the studio, working with our corporate Content and Cyber security partners along with businesses across the organization to securely manage our content and other sensitive assets.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Studio Security to drive strategic improvements across the Studio Group. This role will focus on defining and executing a strategic roadmap, leading a portfolio of security projects, and managing a range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, the ability to manage projects through completion, and experience creating executive-level updates. This role is designed for someone who can help shape approaches and roadmaps, drive improvement programs, and improve the overall security stature inside the Studio Group. We’re looking for someone who can influence without authority, foster trust, and drive meaningful security outcomes through clear communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Define and execute a strategic roadmap to improve studio security processes, policies, and technologies.
- Lead and manage a portfolio of security projects and technology pilots.
- Coordinate and track security program activities, ensuring alignment, accountability and progress across business units.
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports to ensure smooth execution of security initiatives.
- Develop and deliver executive-level status reports, presentations, and policy documentation for leadership.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between Studio Security, Content and Cyber security teams, business units, and external partners.
- Maintain and update dashboards, trackers, and documentation libraries related to project activity.
- Support incident response activities, including data collection and post-mortem analysis.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging threats in media security
- Contribute to the development of internal policy and training materials to increase awareness and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, Information Technology, Media Production, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in post-production, corporate IT, content protection or related technical security roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with tools like Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, project management platforms (e.g., AirTable, SmartSheet, or similar).
- Interest in media/entertainment production and/or security related field.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a studio, media, or post-production environment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Basic understanding of digital content workflows or security principles.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security services.
- Prior people management experience with a focus on team development and mentorship.
- Experience working with streaming platforms and content operations.
- Strong interest in the media and entertainment industry.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, adapt under pressure, and lead through change.
- Experience in developing executive communications, outlining SOPs, and creating flowcharts.
- A true collaborator and team player who fosters a positive team culture and drives toward common goals.
Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 (bonus eligible)
