Job Description
Our Data Center team is looking for a Senior Project Controls Manager to join our team in Barcelona. If you have experience in planning & risk management within industrial or technology-driven projects, we’d like to have you on board.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full schedule lifecycle, from early planning Requirements to detailed execution, for a major data canter project located in Barcelona .
- Facilitate collaborative Scheduling sessions with project stakeholders to build and maintain integrated schedules
- Own and manage the IMS master schedule, ensuring alignment with client expectations and market quality standards.
- Review contractor (CSA+MEP+CX) schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy; escalate gaps or misalignments proactively.
- Monitor and report schedule performance using key metrics (e.g., critical path, float trends, variance analysis, s-curves).
- Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules to support forecasting and decision-making.
- Conduct scenario planning and “what-if” analyses to support strategic adjustments.
- Frequent visits to the construction site to provide team support, nurture relationships and assess the progress of the project.
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing scalable planning solutions and contributing to team development
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
- Strong Knowledge on local Permitting Processes
- Strong knowledge of PMO and project controls with a focus on scheduling and risk management.
- Skilled in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project are mandatory.
- Skilled in Acumen Fuse and PowerBi is a plus.
- Competent in Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Fluent in both Spanish and English.
- Have a passion for building a global team and fostering employee development.
