Perform Finance Group IFRS 17 reporting

Key Accountaibilities

1. Data Preparation for IFRS 17
2. Group Closing Reporting

• Prepare and validate data sets to meet IFRS 17 reporting standards.
• Ensure data completeness, accuracy, and consistency across systems.

- Ensure timely and accurate submission in line with group timelines.

3. Ledger Reconciliation

• Reconcile financial data between local ledgers and group reporting systems.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure alignment.

1. Analytical Review of Movement
2. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Source System/ Reporting Process Enhancements
3. Automation of Data Processing
4. Ad-hoc Task: Perform any additional tasks assigned by management

• Perform analytical reviews of account movements and balances.
• Identify unusual trends or variances and provide explanations.
• Participate in UAT for system changes supporting IFRS 17.
• Validate system outputs and data flows against IFRS 17 requirements.
• Develop or support automation initiatives to handle large data volumes.
• Optimize processes to reduce manual effort and improve processing time.

Qualifications / Experience

• B.A Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
• 5-year experience in finance
• Analytical thinking & Problem solving abilities

• Strong knowledge of data management, system (accounting & policy source system) or insurance accounting is an advantage
• Understanding of IFRS 17 principles and reporting requirements is a plus
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Excel VBA, SQL, Python, Power Query, or RPA).
