Pay Range
$30.15 - $45.25Primarily accountable for the support of simulation leadership, teammates, and educational activities. Coordinates complex administrative projects for Carolinas Simulation Center. Supports assigned projects and collaborates with simulation center teammates and leaders ensuring high quality data for compliance and accreditation. The candidate will possess significant knowledge of administrative support practices in a simulation center, as well as comprehension of usage statistics, inventory, productivity tracking, and cost analysis.
Major Responsibilities:
- Supports the leadership, team and user groups of Carolinas Simulation Center.
- Supports education activities by assisting with scheduling, ordering and tracking supplies, equipment, and donations.
- Welcomes facilitators, learners, and guests to the center and ensures they locate their assigned rooms.
- Communicate with teammates, facilitators, and learners to help coordinate course logistics (parking and walking directions, room assignments, etc).
- Assist with course rosters, usage statistics, equipment loaner program, data tracking, and report creation.
- Maintains professional communication in all forms.
- Maintains information and lists pertinent to teammates and center efficiency.
- Creation of meeting agendas, minutes, and presentations.
- Collaborates with educators to maintain course materials and resources.
- Participate in education-related process improvement projects
Licensure, Registration, And/Or Certification Required:
· None Required
· Microsoft Office Certifications preferred
Education Required:
· Associate’s degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Education or related field.
Experience Required:
· Typically requires 5 years of experience in an administrative role that includes experience creating complex documents, presentations, graphics, and reports, working with a variety of software, analyzing and resolving/troubleshooting problems.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Ability to coordinate administrative aspects of projects, educational events, and large-scale meetings.
- Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office or similar products with the ability to create reports, graphs/charts, presentations, and spreadsheets linking data, creating formulas and using macros.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization and interact with diverse user groups.
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and set priorities within those overall deadlines.
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions:
- Position may require travel which may result in exposure to road and weather hazards.
- Exposed to normal office environment.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
