Major Responsibilities:

  • Perform insurance verification procedures for all outpatient therapy services.
  • Perform all job duties under the strictest “Customer Service” standards according to established policies and procedures
  • Perform data collection/quality assurance procedures.
  • Miscellaneous Rehabilitation Responsibilities

Education/Experience Required:

  • High school education or equivalent 2 years previous Business Office or computerized registration experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Must be able to type 35+ wpm. Some knowledge of software applications (Word/Excel) is preferred. Excellent ability to work independently.

Physicial Requirements And Working Conditions:

  • 1. Ability to maintain composure while balancing multiple demands, frequent interruptions and multitasking. 2. Travel to alternate Outpatient Rehabilitation locations may be required.
  • If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
