Job Description:

SC Partner onboarding PM (including Systems Integration Test Lead), working with HP resources to establish high quality system connectivity between HP and SC suppliers, enabling business operations between HP and the partner. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex systems and business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Manages internal and supplier teams in defining and implementing systems connectivity, creating/validating Master Data, systems design at supplier, and test/validation of the design and connections.
  • Establishes and manages cross-functional, cross-regional and/or cross-business unit teams to enable end-to-end capabilities
  • Independently develops solutions for a project, including managing complex issues, by applying in-depth supply chain and IT/systems knowledge.
  • Consults with business leaders on a wide range of supply chain issues.
  • Works with multiple stakeholders both in HP (Supply Chain – PDM, planning, procurement, logistics, etc., Finance, IT, GBU, etc.) and outside (SC partners, SAP, etc.)

Education And Experience Required:

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in supply chain function and/or business functions.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
  • Fast learner, ability to learn independently while delivering value to the project/business.
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility to the project/team, proactive.
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge across multiple business units.
  • Strong knowledge/awareness of end-to-end SC.  Understanding of Supply Chain IT systems, processes, resources.
  • Good knowledge of EDI, B2B interfaces, S4/MS4, and Ariba.
  • Ability to network across GBU, PSO and Region teams to find alignment on solutions, secure resources, negotiate agreements, and drive implementation.
  • Extensive knowledge and use of Excel, PowerPoint, and high-level modeling tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; mastery in English language.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent team and project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams independently
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, strength in working independently as well as with others.
