Operational Execution & Improvement:
- Partner with the VP of Physician Services to implement scalable operational improvements that advance national strategy.
- Translate strategic direction into efficient workflows across scheduling, payroll, credentialing, and onboarding.
- Identify and eliminate process bottlenecks, driving workflow efficiency and improved service delivery.
- Provide consultative input on system applications, enhancements, and best practices.
- Lead the rollout of new operational initiatives and ensure consistent adoption across markets.
Payroll & Compensation Management
- Oversee physician payroll across multiple states and pay structures, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and external vendors to optimize payroll integrations and reporting.
- Maintain compensation dashboards and trackers to ensure visibility into workforce costs and performance.
Scheduling, Credentialing & Onboarding:
- Direct scheduling operations to achieve reliable coverage and optimized fill rates.
- Partner with credentialing teams to accelerate time-to-credential and streamline onboarding.
- Standardize onboarding workflows to create a consistent and positive experience for physicians and staff.
Project Management & Accountability
- Provide project management oversight for operational initiatives, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated.
- Monitor deliverables, dependencies, and performance metrics, reporting on progress regularly.
- Develop and maintain dashboards tracking credentialing timelines, staffing fill rates, workforce optimization, and budget adherence.
- Provide timely updates to VP of Physician Services and corporate leadership.
Leadership & Support Functions
- Manage and develop operations staff including Schedulers, Specialists, and future team members.
- Provide back-up support for scheduling, QGenda training, payroll processing, and credentialing.
- Represent operations in committee meetings, physician forums, and other cross-functional engagements as needed.
- Manage physician medical malpractice coverage, renewals, and documentation in coordination with Risk and Compliance teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (MBA, MHA, or similar).
- 5–7 years of healthcare operations experience, ideally in multi-site physician practice or radiology.
- Experience managing payroll and scheduling across multi-state environments.
- Strong project management skills, including tracking milestones, advancing deliverables, and managing risks.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT platforms (QGenda, PACS, PenRad, HRIS/payroll).
- Background in process improvement and implementation of operational workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- National travel as needed.
