About The Role

As Ticketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the ticketing strategy for the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027. This role is central to meeting our attendance targets, maximising revenue and yield, and ensuring a fair, accessible, and seamless ticketing experience for fans.

You will lead the development and operational delivery of the ticketing program, with a strong focus on pricing strategy, ticket release timing and phasing, product development (including group sales and policies), sales channel optimisation, inventory management, and ticket distribution. Your work will align closely with the tournament’s commercial, legacy, and inclusion objectives.

In addition, you will oversee the ticketing system and manage relationships with all ticketing partners and the venue, ensuring the program is delivered within strategic frameworks and budget, while maintaining operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Areas of Focus

Throughout your journey with the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end ticketing strategy implementation for the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027.
  • Develop and manage pricing strategies, venue scaling by match/day, ticket release phases, and product offerings including group sales and policies.
  • Maximise sales channels and oversee inventory and distribution planning.
  • Lead integrated ticket sales planning meetings from time to time to ensure we are maximising all available sales opportunities both internally and with key external partners
  • Manage the ticketing system and relationships with ticketing partners and venues.
  • Ensure operational excellence and a best-in-class customer experience across all ticketing touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the ticketing program within strategic and budgetary frameworks.
  • Manage relationships with ticketing platform providers and venue box offices.
  • Develop regular sales reports and insights against forecasts that shape ongoing development of strategies targeted at driving and meeting our fan attendance targets.

About You

You’re a strategic thinker and a doer, with proven experience in ticketing planning & operations for either major events, venues or sports &entertainment rightsholders. You bring strong commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for delivering inclusive and memorable fan experiences. You thrive in dynamic environments and are ready to make a meaningful impact on one of the world’s biggest netball stages.

  • A track record of success in leading & delivering ticket sales objectives for major events

  • Proven collaboration working with major venues to ensure ticket sales are optimised and a superior fan experience is delivered

Additional Information

Reporting into the General Manager – Revenue & Experience, this full-time role will be based at Sydney Olympic Park, on a fixed-term basis through to September 2027. Given the unique nature of the sports industry, and the domestic & global reach of our organisation, travelling and working outside of our HQ and traditional office hours may be required from time to time.
