Innovation Strategy Intern - Summer 2026

As an Innovation Strategy Intern at McKesson, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our business by assisting with innovation strategy planning, data collection & analysis, and assessing the competitive landscape. You will work directly with the Director of Strategic Insights & Innovation to:

• Gather and analyze customer intelligence: Explore primary and secondary customer research methodologies and how to apply them in business settings.
• Gather and analyze market intelligence: Conduct competitive market research to uncover trends and use them to formulate product strategy.
• Build compelling problem & action statements: Synthesize collected into evidence-based problem statements that direct future actions.
• Gain experience in healthcare strategy: Join a Center of Excellence to learn how healthcare innovation works from start to finish.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field.
• Experience assisting or leading research activities, such as interviews, focus groups, statistical analysis, document review, evaluation, etc.
• Excited about complex healthcare challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $17.33 - $28.88
