The Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant in our Griffith office, you will play an important part in enabling Kelly+Partners’ next phase of growth. We drive a supportive, people-first culture and have a strong focus on well-being, development and clear progression opportunities.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
  • Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
  • Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
  • Lead and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
  • Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
  • Help provide exceptional service to our clients

About You

  • 4+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
  • Expertise in APS accounting software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
  • Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
