Job Description for Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) – Associate Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Informatica MDM solutions based on project requirements.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Configure and customize Informatica MDM Hub components, including data modeling, workflows, match and merge rules, and user interfaces.
• Develop and optimize data integration processes and APIs to ensure efficient data movement and synchronization.
• Collaborate with business users, data stewards, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement data quality rules and processes.
• Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data standardization activities.
• Conduct data mapping and transformation using Informatica MDM and ETL tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Informatica MDM implementation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including technical specifications, solution designs, and test plans.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Informatica MDM and data management technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Informatica MDM development and implementation.

Strong understanding of master data management concepts and principles.

Proficiency in Informatica MDM Hub, including data modeling and configuration.

Experience with Informatica Data Director, Informatica Data Quality, and other Informatica MDM components.

Knowledge of data integration techniques, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data governance principles.

Strong SQL and database skills, with knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, or other databases.

Familiarity with web services, RESTful APIs, and XML.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.
