Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

1. Experience in Powertrain , Chassis commodity
2. Should be knowledgeable in GD&T
3. Expertise in Castings / Forging, Machining process
4. Working experience in Heat Treatments will be an added advantage.
5. The role requires 60% of travel to supplier sites
6. Drive new supplier site evaluations and Supplier Risk Assessment on new sourcing, identifying Risk Mitigation
7. Drive Manufacturing feasibility Reviews with suppliers before kicking off APQP and implement relevant actions to ensure a robust process & product quality
8. Review Supplier’s Manufacturing Plan and Analyze Capacity Analysis Reports
9. Drive a robust Industrialization Plan for New Model Programs.
10. Drive PPAP requisites to match New Model Program time plan.
11. Supplier Failure Mode Avoidance through reviews of DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, CQI Special Process Analysis.
12. Drive Best in class manufacturing practices at supplier’s manufacturing location.
13. Drive Quality Performance Improvements – Defects Reduction actions, Warranty Performance Improvement
14. Drive closure of supplier process Quality issues related to Field issues & Prevent Action
15. Running Models – Quality Verification through Statistical Process Control, Measurement System Analysis.
16. Supplier Performance Monitoring – Through Regular Quality Operating Systems Analysis.

Experience- 8 yrs – 10 yrs

Qualification- Engineering
