Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong automation-first mindset to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred), modern DevOps tooling, container orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Develop tools and scripts using Python and either Node.js, Go, or Shell scripting.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (multi-cluster, multi-cloud setups).
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Ensure cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure security best practices are followed.
• Manage build and release pipelines using Git and Jenkins.
• Configure and maintain web servers such as Nginx and Apache.
• Work with messaging and streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Manage both SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL and MongoDB.
• (Bonus) Experience with distributed tracing and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools. 

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience.
• Strong background in CI/CD automation and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in GCP, with good knowledge of Azure.
• Coding/scripting experience in Python and at least one of Node.js, Go, or Shell.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
• Strong understanding of cloud and container security principles.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Kafka, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Good knowledge of web servers and message queuing systems.
