Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, operations, infrastructure) to build innovative application experiences
Implement custom user interfaces using latest programming techniques and technologies
Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance, and provide feedback to peers during code reviews
Set direction and goals for teams, lead major initiatives, provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers, and help onboard new team members
Architect efficient and scalable systems that drive complex applications
Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues, and drive large efforts to reduce technical debt
Work on a variety of coding languages and technologies
Establish ownership of components, features, or systems with expert end-to-end understanding
Programming experience in a relevant language
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Demonstrated experience driving change within an organization and leading complex technical projects
Experience utilizing data and analysis to explain technical problems and provide detailed feedback and solutions
PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Signal Processing, Robotics, Human-Computer Interaction, Biomedical Engineering or related)
Proven track record of leading design and deployment of end-to-end systems for an complex sensing feature on consumer-facing hardware (such as edge devices, wearables) involving algorithms for sensor-derived data streams, machine learning for real-world data
Proven experience in designing and overseeing data collection strategies for user-facing features for relevant sensors, ensuring data quality and scalability through effective cross-functional collaboration
Experience with large-scale model training, transfer learning and data-efficient ML in relevant field
Experience in building scalable multi-modal data pipelines, model training, and deployment frameworks for wearables or mobile devices in relevant technologies
Experience with privacy, security, or regulatory aspects of data-driven products in the relevant field
