We Are Looking For:

CLS Health is seeking a Frontend Developer (UI/UX) to design and build intuitive, user-friendly applications that streamline workflows for coders and clinicians. This role will focus on creating dashboards, real-time queues, and workflow tools that integrate seamlessly with our audit, appeals, and education processes. The ideal candidate will combine strong frontend engineering expertise with a passion for designing solutions that simplify complex healthcare workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive dashboards tailored for coders and clinicians.
• Create a “Hold” queue interface with real-time status, filters, and workflow tracking.
• Integrate audit feedback, appeals, and education tools into user-facing applications.
• Collaborate with backend developers, data engineers, and RCM teams to ensure seamless integration with APIs and healthcare data systems.
• Translate complex healthcare workflows into intuitive, efficient UI/UX solutions.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously refine applications.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and security best practices in all frontend solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency with React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
• Proven experience designing UI/UX for complex workflows, ideally in healthcare or another regulated industry.
• Understanding of REST APIs and integration with backend systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with healthcare workflows, coding systems, or revenue cycle operations.
• Experience with FHIR/HL7 data integration concepts.
• Knowledge of frontend security best practices in healthcare applications (HIPAA awareness).
