Could you be the full-time DevOps Engineer in Bangalore we’re looking for?

Your Future Role

Take on a new challenge and apply your integration and DevOps expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a highly motivated and collaborative team.

You'll play a critical role in developing the latest generation of Alstom urban signalling systems, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of complex embedded solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with global teams across the business, including software development teams and platform development centers in Europe, configure and manage CI/CD infrastructure, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll specifically take care of integrating Merge Requests into baselines and delivering stable baselines, but also maintaining the continuous integration and delivery environment.

We’Ll Look To You For:

  • Integrating Merge Requests into baselines
  • Ensuring timely delivery of baselines
  • Configuring and managing CI/CD infrastructure in collaboration with the IT department
  • Promoting internal tools and company standards for technology use
  • Implementing automation scripts to enhance development and delivery processes
  • Ensuring the stability of the CI/CD environment

All About You

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related engineering field
  • 8+ years of experience in Continuous Delivery/Deployment with hands-on knowledge of setting up infrastructure for Development Teams
  • Mastery of continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab-CI)
  • Proficiency in software management tools (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Gradle, Python)
  • Knowledge of artifact management tools (e.g., Artifactory, Nexus)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, ElasticSearch, ActiveSearch)
  • Extensive knowledge of operations on cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with complex, distributed systems
  • Flair for learning technologies specific to the railway domain
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams in different geographies
  • Experience in identifying technical risks and defining development strategies
  • Proven ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to teams
  • Prior experience with European customers is a plus
