The Procurement Specialist will play a critical role in driving the organization’s procurement function by ensuring effective supplier/co-packer engagement, optimizing procurement processes, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Reporting to the Sr. Strategic Procurement Manager, you will collaborate across multiple teams to support seamless operations and contribute to the organization’s supply chain efficiency and sustainability goals.
Job Description
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for procurement-related queries. You will collaborate with suppliers/co-packers to resolve service, delivery, or invoicing issues, support supplier onboarding, and monitor performance. You will also work closely with internal teams to ensure operational activities align with strategic sourcing initiatives, driving both consistency and value.
Operational Procurement Execution
You will take ownership of the procurement cycle by monitoring purchase orders in SAP ERP/SRM, tracking the PO lifecycle, and ensuring goods and services are delivered on time. You will also manage invoice workflows, resolve discrepancies, and support timely payment processing. In addition, you will assist Strategic Procurement Managers with daily operational tasks, including calculations, data analysis, and data preparation for decision-making.
Compliance & Contract Management
You will manage the supplier/co-packer lifecycle through creation, qualification, maintenance, and discontinuation in ARIBA/ICERTIS, ensuring all required due diligence is met.
Spend Management
You will oversee end-to-end spend management, from requests for quotation through cost analysis and negotiation to internal cost submissions. Working closely with Strategic Procurement Managers and the Finance Department, you will ensure cost optimization for goods and services.
Data & Reporting
You will maintain and analyze procurement data, prepare regular reports on purchase order status and supplier performance, and contribute to KPI tracking. Your insights will directly support decision-making and drive efficiency improvements across procurement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Procurement (Master’s degree is a plus)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in English
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven organizational and detail-oriented skills
Ability to thrive in cross-functional teams
Proficiency in MS Office tools, with strong expertise in Microsoft Excel
Experience in stakeholder/partner management is an advantage
Previous procurement experience is a plus
SAP knowledge preferred, but not required
Additional Information
Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2392 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
