This is more than a management role—it's a technical leadership position where you will guide a dedicated team of quality engineers, serve as the vital link between Operations, Product Design, and Engineering across both our US and Asia teams, and be the on-site quality champion.

Responsibilities

You will be the core quality leader, responsible for ensuring design and manufacturing excellence from concept through mass production.

New Product Introduction & Execution

  • Own the Reliability Qualification Plan: Generate and drive the comprehensive quality system for new products, from initial concept and into mass production.
  • Risk Mitigation: Lead cross-functional, global teams to develop DFMEA, PFMEA, and Lessons Learned analyses, ensuring high-risk items are addressed.
  • Gate Reviews: Analyze data and provide clear, timely recommendations on product readiness at critical phases (EVT, DVT, MPQ, MP).
  • Issue Resolution: Lead failure analysis, implement corrective actions, and present concise reports to executive stakeholders.
  • Process Excellence: Drive scalable quality control plans and assess the quality impact of product and process designs.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and coach the PQE team, fostering a culture of high quality for products, processes, and people.
  • Global Quality Hub: Act as the on-site lead for quality issues, collaborating with CMs/Suppliers, and ensuring quick consensus among global project teams to achieve closure.
  • Proactive Quality: Initiate and implement proactive activities to continuously enhance manufacturing and product quality, including leading internal and external audits.

Qualifications
