Financial Controller

We’re looking for a Financial Controller to take ownership of Upright’s financial backbone, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across both financial modeling and operational finance processes. This hands-on role combines core finance responsibilities, including invoicing, expense tracking, reconciliations, and reporting, with the creation of high-quality financial models that support the business.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in financial analysis, reporting, or audit who wants to apply their expertise in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment, where execution, pragmatism, and attention to detail are as important as technical skill.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining high-quality financial models to support decision-making across the organization, from forecasting and scenario planning to strategic growth analysis. The models you build are reliable, transparent, and actionable.
• Taking ownership of key operational finance processes, including invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, and financial reporting.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning efforts in collaboration with leadership.
• Producing clear and actionable financial insights for internal stakeholders and board reporting.
• Working with external bookkeeping partners to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.
