The Opportunity:

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for optimising supply chains in a fast paced environment? Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, we're seeking a talented Procurement Manager to lead our sourcing and vendor strategies, ensuring seamless operations, cost efficiencies, and unwavering compliance. In this pivotal role, you'll champion supplier relationships, mitigate risks, and align procurement with our ambitious business goals, making a real impact on production and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement long-term procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, including in-depth market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) meetings and engage proactively with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Negotiate supplier contracts to secure favourable terms and competitive pricing; handle renewals, amendments, and dispute resolutions.
• Develop and maintain performance monitoring tools, such as KPIs, dashboards, and Accountability Scorecards, incorporating Supply Chain feedback to measure and enhance procurement effectiveness.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations (e.g., TGA, FDA, GMP) and maintain comprehensive supplier files (e.g., Kosher, Halal, Organic, GMO-free).
• Approve and audit raw material and packaging suppliers while overseeing vendor quality performance.
• Build robust risk mitigation strategies for supply chain disruptions, proactively identifying and communicating supplier or market risks, and collaborating on resolutions.
• Define, monitor, and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for full compliance.
• Drive innovative cost-saving initiatives, analyse procurement spend to optimise Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and collaborate with the Procurement Officer to eliminate inefficiencies without compromising quality or supply reliability.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (Product, Manufacturing, Finance) and leverage CRM tools to boost supplier engagement and align procurement with the broader business goals.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• 5+ years experience in procurement ideally within the health supplements, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., TGA, FDA, GMP compliance).
• Expertise in SIFOT tracking, SLA management, and CRM integration
• Proven success in supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and logistics tools.
• Advanced data analysis skills, including trend identification and actionable reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel, with mastery of pivot tables and data visualisation.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a high-energy environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with flexibility to tackle surprises and delays head-on.
