About This Role
Based at Wormall Group’s head office in Cardup WA (just south of Byford), you’ll report directly to the Group Procurement Manager. As Procurement Specialist, you’ll be accountable for the efficient running of the Procure 2 Pay process and the mentoring of our Procurement Graduate.
Although previous experience in civil construction isn’t necessary, your knowledge of supply chain management in similar industries will be invaluable for ensuring that all necessary goods, services, and materials are acquired efficiently, cost-effectively across the Group’s manufacturing and construction divisions.
Please note that this is a full-time (Mon-Fri) position based in the Cardup office. Regular WFH or part-time arrangements are not currently offered as part of this role.
About You
- Relevant experience in in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Project, Visio, SharePoint, Teams
- Previous exposure to Sage Construction is highly regarded
- Able to liaise clearly with site teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Analytical problem solver – able to identify issues early and follows through with practical solutions
- Adaptable and proactive – you respond well to changing site conditions
Qualification and skillsets needed
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (beneficial)
- Knowledge of civil construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing industries is highly regarded
- A current and valid Western Australian drivers licence (required)
- Unrestricted Australian working rights (required)
- CPSM or CSCP certification (beneficial)
