This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain real-world marketing experience in the healthcare and wellbeing sector, working closely with our Founder/CEO and the national leadership team.
Role Overview
The Social Media & Marketing Intern will work closely with the Founder/CEO to build and manage their professional online presence - particularly on LinkedIn, tiktok, Instagram, and Facebook. This includes developing a consistent content calendar, producing engaging posts, and helping shape the Founder’s voice as a thought leader in healthcare, business, and innovation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring marketer or communications student to gain real-world experience in personal branding, digital storytelling, and leadership marketing within a fast-growing, purpose-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a content plan focused on building the Founder/CEO’s personal brand, with a target of three posts per week across key platforms.
- Draft engaging posts, articles, and short-form content that reflect the Founder’s leadership, vision, and day-to-day work.
- Capture and edit visual content (photos and short videos) during meetings, travel, and events.
- Coordinate scheduling and posting through LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Collaborate with the Founder/CEO to generate story ideas, campaign hooks, and post topics.
- Monitor post engagement and analytics, providing simple weekly insights or recommendations.
- Ensure brand tone and messaging align with Fly2 Health’s values and communications style.
- Support broader marketing and employer branding initiatives where needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Studying or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or similar.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with a sharp sense for brand tone.
- Interest in digital marketing, leadership branding, and social media strategy.
- Confident using Canva or other content creation tools.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive, with an eye for detail and a creative flair.
- Available half a day per week, based in Melbourne (occasional interstate travel opportunities with the Founder/CEO).
