Content Creator – Prop Trading (Part-time Contractor)

Joining us you will be a part of our global PR & Social Media Team working from the UK, Poland, Singapore and Canada. You will report to the Global Social Media Lead and create our OANDA Prop Trader video content across all platforms, with a primary focus on social media, especially in Thailand and Taiwan. 
 

In This Role, You Will:

• Be responsible for all social media work for all Prop Trader focused content, and lead and execute plans across all organic social channels end to end.
• Deliver a range of video content to our Prop Trading community across a wide range of social channels.
•  Be responsible for planning, filming, and editing engaging video content for platforms like YouTube, and Instagram to drive brand awareness, engagement, and demand.
• Nurture a video production strategy and star in video content that drives both brand awareness and traffic to the OANDA Prop Trading site.

What skillsets do you need to be successful in this role?

• Proven experience of working in front and behind the camera.
• A track record of delivering regular, insightful content across a range of social media channels.
• Good understanding of audience trends and algorithm changes to produce compelling visual stories that resonate with target viewers.
• Experience of managing a range of social media accounts.
• An understanding of financial markets and a willingness to learn about the Prop Trading industry and online trading. 

• Fluent English.

• Ability to work min. 20 hours a week. 
• Existing contacts within the Prop Trading space. ​
• Knowledge of a second language - Chinese or Thai.
• Filming and video editing experience.

This is an initial 6-month contract, offering a clear opportunity for extension for a high-performing individual.

Independent Contractors are required to operate as a business entity (company/sole proprietorship) to enter into a Consulting Contract with OANDA.
