About The Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Pastry Chef to join our culinary team in Jumeirah Olhahali Island.
- The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Lead, inspire, and manage the pastry team to deliver high-quality, innovative desserts and baked goods.
- Develop and design creative pastry menus in line with Jumeirah’s brand standards and seasonal trends.
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and taste of all pastry items served across our outlets.
- Maintain inventory, control costs, and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards in the pastry kitchen.
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and team members.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage team to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant experience in hospitality or related industries
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
