As part of the Infrastructure Services team, responsibilities include managing daily support for Linux and Windows servers. Collaboration with technical teams is essential to understand IT needs and ensure effective delivery of solutions.

Qualify our next generation infrastructure

As a Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the operational support of Linux/Windows Server Infrastructure. You will also resolve problems and issues with servers to limit work disruptions within the company. You will play and essential role in delivering IT Support Services effectively and efficiently to our customers.

As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for:

• Configuring, deploying and supporting Linux and Windows operating systems to ensure stability of our infrastructure environment
• Utilizing monitoring tools to identify potential problem areas and provide effective solutions
• Upgrading administrative tools and applying OS patches to ensure server compliance
• Performing daily system monitoring, verifying system and application logs to oversee completion of scheduled backup jobs
• Automating of system administration tasks using scripting languages to improve our internal support system

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 2-4 years of related experience and a Bachelor's Degree or a High School Diploma in a related subject
• Have solid experience supporting, building and maintaining Windows and Linux Server infrastructure environments
• Have experience in troubleshooting of file systems, disk management and start-up scripts on Linux / Windows Servers
• Display knowledge of the creation, management and configuration of Virtual/Physical Machines including clone and templates
• Be familiar with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, Perl or similar
• Show knowledge of ITIL Incident and Change Management Processes
