The Compliance Specialist position provides support to the Managed Care Compliance Department in development and implementation of departmental processes to ensure compliance with state, federal, and contractual requirements. This position will provide on-going support to management, conduct regulatory research, assist with health plan audits and internal audits. This position will be responsible for coordinating the annual review of all internal policies and procedures for the risk business for CA MSO and assist in creating internal training material to educate internal departments on any new or changing regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or related fields of study. Or equivalent educ/experience
- Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
- Compliance/privacy experience in a healthcare setting.
- 2 years of Compliance experience in healthcare organization working with health plan or regulatory entity.
- Extensive experience with Compliance Regulation and California State Law.
Preferred Qualification:
- 3 years of Health Information Management, Accreditation Services, or Revenue Cycle Services.
- 2 years of experience drafting appropriate compliance programs and plans.
