What’S The Role?

As Project Director- Commercial Property, you’ll lead the delivery of high-value property initiatives across Westpac’s national portfolio. From major refurbishments to sustainability-driven upgrades, you’ll oversee every stage of planning and execution, ensuring projects align with strategic goals and governance standards. This is a full-time role based in Sydney, with occasional travel across Australia. 

You'll lead end-to-end delivery of complex corporate property projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, budgets, and timelines. This includes overseeing cost planning and scenario modelling, managing consultant procurement with a strong focus on ESG integration, and providing clear governance and executive-level reporting throughout the project lifecycle.  You’ll work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and senior stakeholders to bring bold spaces to life—on time, on budget, and with impact.

What do I need?

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

• Proven experience leading complex commercial property programs and strategic projects.
• Strong knowledge of office fitout design and construction, cost planning, and ESG integration.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience guiding and leading a small team.
• Confidence managing diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in consultant procurement, contract negotiation, and scenario modelling.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to executives and guide decision-making.
