Roles & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Credit & Collections Specialist Associate who will be primarily responsible for reviewing customer creditworthiness, approving new orders, and supporting the collections process as needed.
Credit Approval & Risk Management:
• Review customer payment history and assess creditworthiness for new and existing accounts.
• Approve new orders based on established credit terms and company policies.
• Collaborate with the sales team and corporate credit team to define and establish new credit terms for clients.
• Monitor customer credit exposure and recommend adjustments to limits where necessary.
• Evaluate and approve credit limit increases or decreases based on risk assessment.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with clients to request guarantees, prepayments, or additional documentation as required.
Collections Support:
• Follow up with customers for payments on overdue accounts, when required.
• Work with customers to resolve disputed invoices or payment issues.
• Escalate any high-risk or significantly delinquent accounts to management.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, credit approval, or risk management (collections experience is a plus). Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic business environment and make timely credit decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and experience with ERP systems (Oracle EBS preferred).
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Must be a team player.
