Description
We are hiring an experienced Senior Director of Paid Media to add to our growing agency team! You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the digital media department, providing strategic leadership, team development, and hands-on expertise across Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, Display, and AI-powered advertising solutions. You will be responsible for department performance, client satisfaction, and innovation in how we deliver measurable results for our clients.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years of digital media experience within an agency environment, including managing both Paid Media and Paid Social campaigns, leading a team, and leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, performance and targeting. This is a leadership role that requires both strategic vision and the ability to roll up your sleeves to support the team.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the digital media department which includes Paid Search (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads), Paid Social (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Pinterest), Programmatic Display, Video Advertising, Native Advertising, and Direct-Buy Advertising.
- Actively manage and optimize high-value media accounts, including onboarding new clients and providing senior-level strategic direction
- Lead cross-channel campaign strategy integrating Paid Search and Paid Social for maximum impact on client goals.
- Drive adoption of AI and automation tools (NinjaCat, and other tools) (e.g., predictive bidding, audience segmentation, creative generation, and performance forecasting) to improve campaign efficiency and scalability.
- Establish and maintain scalable processes for media planning, buying, execution, and reporting that support data-driven decision-making and repeatable success, that aligns with our client’s goals.
- Forecast market changes in Paid Media and Paid Social, ensuring the team remains competitive and innovative in its approach.
- Responsible for media department goals including utilization, profitability, staff redundancy, and skills competency
- Collaborate with account teams and department directors to ensure alignment in strategy, delivery quality, and budget management.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional growth within the media team.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring strategies and results are aligned with client objectives.
- Partner with the business development team in pitches, proposals, and new business opportunities.
Requirements
- 7+ years in Paid Media, with substantial hands-on and leadership experience in Paid social across multiple platforms.
- Proven track record of scaling and leading media team of 10+ members.
- Strong understanding of how Paid Media and Paid Social fit within an integrated digital marketing strategy.
- Demonstrated success in building AI-enhanced advertising strategies, including automation, audience targeting, and performance analysis.
- Experience developing media strategies from the ground up, including accurate pricing and resource planning
- Ability to identify and act on cross-sell and upsell opportunities in partnership with account teams.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex strategies to audiences with varying levels of marketing expertise.
- History of cultivating high-performing teams and fostering a culture of trust, inclusion, and innovation
- Strong recruiting skills with the ability to spot and attract top Paid Media and Paid Social talent in a competitive market.
