Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Nurse Clinician Supervisor to join our Bariatrics team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
Coordinates clinical services and directly supervises registered nurses and program aides. Provides directs nursing care to patients within specialty area involving advanced assessment, planning, implementation, intervention, and evaluation skills. Administers high quality patient care within scope of practice and Park Nicollet Health Service standards.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, Days
Required Qualifications:
Education, Experience Or Equivalent Combination:
Graduate from a registered nursing program resulting in a baccalaureate degree
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
The incumbent must maintain a current state certified registered nurse licensure.
BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
Proven leadership skills in organizing, planning, and directing an operation and its staff, and the ability to exercise good judgment and problem-solving skills are also essential to this position.
This position requires familiarity and compliance with matters of law, regulations and internal policies affecting the employment relationship, (including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, discrimination, and harassment laws).
Safely and effectively operates telephone, fax machine, photocopier, printer, various health testing devices, blood drawing or injection devices, thermometer, and blood pressure equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education, Experience Or Equivalent Combination:
Previous supervisory / leadership experience highly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
Strong clinical and human relations skills.
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics established by the Nurse Practice Act and Park Nicollet Health Service.
Keyboarding Skills.
Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
