The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations and logistics management to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of inventory and shipments. This role will lead a team, optimize processes, implement robust inventory controls, and collaborate across departments to support organizational goals and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing direction, training, and performance feedback.
• Develop, implement, and maintain best practices for receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Drive S4 implementation through entire warehouse from picking orders through delivery
• Establish and monitor inventory management controls, including:
• Cycle counting procedures to regularly verify inventory accuracy.
• Stock reconciliation processes to resolve discrepancies.
• Inventory audits and physical counts to maintain integrity of stock records.
• System-based controls for tracking inventory movements and adjustments.
• Lot tracking, expiration date management, and serial number controls as required.
• Safeguarding assets through security measures, restricted access areas, and loss prevention protocols.
• Documentation and reporting controls to ensure compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate logistics activities, including scheduling shipments, managing transportation partners, and resolving delivery issues.
• Monitor KPIs for warehouse operations and logistics, analyzing data to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align inventory and delivery strategies.
• Implement safe work practices throughout the warehouse including safe movement and storage of finished goods
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
• Manage budgets and control costs related to warehouse and logistics activities.
• Implement and support technology solutions for warehouse management, including WMS integration and inventory optimization tools.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field or the equivalent related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations and logistics management.
• Extensive knowledge of inventory controls, audit techniques, and inventory management systems.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities across functions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Direct Experience with SAP (S4 HANA preferred), warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and logistics platforms.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• The expected base pay for this position is $130,700 - $196,100
