: Hilton - Area Office - Singapore 3 Temasek Avenue #14-01/05 Centennial Tower Singapore 39190The Senior Analyst, Development – Asia Pacific (APAC) will provide a point of leverage in development deal administration / management to assist the efficiency and productivity of the Deal team (i.e. Directors, VP, SVP) in the pursuit of the strategic objective of the company to “expand our global footprint” in the development and retention of hotels that carry our brands.
You will report to report to Senior VP, Development – APAC. Besides providing key support to the APAC Retention and Renewal team, you will also support in cross-departmental knowledge sharing, analysis and liaison to the Development teams located in Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, Delhi and China.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
- 1. Development Strategy and Reporting: With direction from the SVP, you will work effectively with colleagues, industry contacts and competitors to assist in drafting Hilton’s development strategy for the various markets within the APAC with respect to our target brands and business models. Thereafter take an ownership role in reporting progress in pursuit of the strategy. Given that Singapore is the hub of the APAC Development Team, there is a wider corporate dimension to strategy and reporting as it feeds into the wider enterprise of Hilton Worldwide.
- 2. Point of Contact for Development Systems (O2NUG / Salesforce, Tableau, Official Reporting): Familiarize with the systems and how development data is recorded to ensure and facilitate accurate reporting.
- 3. Retention Reporting and Analysis: With direction from the Retention team, you will play a key role in recording and analysing trends in hotel retention and risks, with particular focus on.
- 4. Strategic Support: Provide support to Senior VP, Development in formulating, compiling, tracking, preparing and finalising the regional development growth strategy for APAC.
- 5. Deal Engagement Calls: Facilitate and organise monthly deal engagement calls. Liaise with Regional Heads of Development to create meeting agenda. Take summary notes during meeting to be circulated at the end of the call.
- 6. Development Authorities (DA): You will assist the Retention team to author, prepare and produce retention related DA and may where necessary assist regional teams to administer / support the preparation of the DA, helping to facilitate DA passing through the internal approval process in strict accordance with the deal approval policy.
- 7. Proposal and Presentation Compilation: You will be responsible for drafting a variety of proposals and presentations for Senior VP, Development and the Renewal and Retention function that are targeted to a wide range of both internal and external audiences. Once the objectives for each proposal or presentation have been set, you will then manage all aspects of preparation and on time delivery of a product of a high professional quality.
- 8. Marketing: Working with the Brand and B2B Marketing teams, you will actively engaged in the conceptualisation, design and production of a wide variety of Development Marketing aids and collateral.
- 9. Hilton Worldwide Profile: You will work to sustain and grow the profile of Hilton Worldwide in the wider marketplace, government, business and social environments.
- 10. Portfolio of Brands: You will maintain up to date knowledge of the Brand portfolio and respective product initiatives and developments to allow the Development team to optimally position the individual Brands and Hilton Worldwide in the marketplace.

- Monthly reconciliation of KPIs against official reporting
- Troubleshooting and error correction of data with US Development Analytics team
- Ad hoc support and troubleshooting across departments (Architecture Design & Construction, Pre-Openings, Brands Pre Openings)
- Manage the generic Development inbox and pass on leads to relevant team members
- Maintaining the APAC risk register
- Assist in the constant analysis of risks in the trading estate
- Preparation of the Asset Management Committee meeting agenda and minutes
- Preparation of required Investment Committee reporting
- Regularly review the integrity of the APAC project pipeline
- Become point of contact for sourcing for information and data from various departments for Development use
- Provide updated statistics to Graphic Designer for Hilton enterprise deck and other Development Marketing materials
WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT
You Have These Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant experience
- University Degree in Finance, Commerce, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related discipline
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a non-routine, fluid, and at times chaotic environment, whilst making sure the work is delivered to the highest professional standards
- Contribute to the broader team culture of “esprit de corps” with a sense of fun, creativity, and innovation
- Basic financial modelling skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to use these across different management levels
- Strong initiative with the ability to anticipate, and not simply react to, business needs
- Ability to manage a range of competing priorities and demands through strong time management skills
- Willingness to travel for work purposes within the APAC region
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and collaboration tools
It would be useful if you have:
- Working knowledge in Power BI and Tableau
