This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Manitoba, Canada) — Includes 1-hour unpaid break
Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

Responsibilities:

1. Generate invoices and process credits
2. Submit invoices into customer portals
3. Set up customer credit accounts
4. Review reports within NetSuite

Customers under credit review
Credit limits with expiry
Account holds set to on/off
Invoices to be emailed
Invoices needing customer portal submission

5. Generate monthly listing of sales to declare to AR insurance
6. Various month-end reconciliations, including:

a. Balance AR Subledger to general ledger
b. Review AR Aging report
c. Ensure EDC credit limits match NetSuite
d. Credit card merchant charges

7. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor to foster good customer relationships.
8. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
9. Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance teams as needed.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Previous experience in an accounts receivable, accounting, or general bookkeeping role, preferably with processing invoices.
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems preferred.
Experience working with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Accuracy in data entry.
