Social Media Assistant

This is a remote position.

• Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm EST - NY

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw videos and photos into polished, social media-ready content using Canva and basic editing tools
• Create engaging captions and add professional typography to enhance visual appeal
• Design educational comparison graphics and tables (ingredient comparisons, treatment options)
• Transform clinical data and information into visually compelling social media graphics
• Schedule and publish content across multiple social media platforms
• Engage authentically with followers and build community rapport through meaningful interactions
• Conduct competitive research and analyze industry trends to inform content strategy
• Propose fresh promotional ideas and innovative content approaches
• Provide strategic guidance on social media best practices and emerging trends
• Manage end-to-end content workflow from raw materials to published posts

Requirements

• Proficiency in Canva for graphic design and visual content creation
• Experience with basic video editing tools (CapCut or similar platforms)
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and engagement strategies
• Excellent written communication skills for caption writing and community management
• Creative mindset with ability to translate complex information into accessible content
• Experience in social media community management and audience engagement
• Bonus if you have healthcare or wellness industry social media experience
• It helps if you’re familiar with skincare or dermatology topics
• Bonus if you have experience with educational content creation
