Fujitsu is currently seeking a Legal Administrator to join our in-house Immigration Department.
This position is located and will work in the Pittsburgh, PA office 5 days a week.
Job Summary:
The incumbent will provide administrative support to the in-house immigration team. This position will require the ability to draft forms and documents with accuracy, manage administrative projects and maintain record-keeping processes, and follow, develop and/or implement workflows to ensure efficiency and compliance. The candidate must be capable of working to meet deadlines with exceptional prioritization and problem-solving skills. This position requires a detail-oriented candidate with excellent organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel (experience with immigration software is a plus, but not a requirement), and strong collaboration and communications skills.
Key Responsibilities
- The legal administrator will provide daily support to our in-house Immigration Department, including the in-house paralegals and attorneys.
- The legal administrator will participate in all aspects of the department's employment-based immigration law practice.
- The legal administrator will assist in drafting non-immigrant (H-1B, L-1, TN) petitions, file LCAs with the Department of Labor, and assist in drafting permanent residency-based documents, including PERM applications, Form I-140s, and Form I-485s.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Paralegal certification (a plus, not a requirement).
- One to three years of experience in a similar role in an in-house position or at a law firm.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. (Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Microsoft Teams is a plus.)
- Candidates needs to be able to handle multiple tasks, be cognizant of priorities, and be receptive to frequent prioritization changes.
- Candidates must be detailed-oriented, possess excellent writing skills, and be capable of working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
